The Variety Boys & Girls Club has been serving children in the Boyle Heights Community for 60 years. Founded in 1949 by Variety – The Children’s Charity of Southern California, the Boys & Girls Club now serves over 4,000 at-risk and primarily low-income children a year. The club provides daily programs such as: homework assistance, mentoring, computer lessons, literacy, arts & crafts, games and more. The Club recently underwent a “Changing Children’s Lives” Capital Campaign which is funding a massive renovation. Variety, Tent 25, has committed $5 million to this campaign and is very proud to say that construction has begun on this brand new state of the art facility!
All monies from this special Hoosiers evening will go towards the construction of a new gymnasium for the kids.

Founded in 1933, the Big Ten Club of Southern California was created to celebrate getting out of the cold and enjoying the camaraderie of others at various local events and functions. Plus with our long standing association with the Tournament of Roses, Big Ten Club members enjoy access to Tournament related events.
Major events include the Rose Bowl game, Person of the Year, Queen's Luncheon, and Caucus at Wrigley Mansion.
